recovery update

just a note to advise on recovery of the skip and harley after their moments in emergency.
harley is on the mend after being shake, rattled and rolled by early morning quiet street incident. car 1 harley 0.
never underestimate the turning driver! his broken wrist and elbow are the most sustained, he really had the wind knocked out of him and the machine but he is over the worst and note we both make grumpy audiences. but it is pretty unfair after harley has put in such huge efforts to get to race fitness and pole position in the team as captain 'groupo cyclo' but the pinarello is now in for a complete make over. as are the attitudes to cycling.
quiet roads can be just as fierce. get strong mate you are way on the mend. great to spend time in the tour village kicking tyres yesterday thats all we both can do. the skipper is making progress post arterial surgery to remove his alter ego' and evil twin but no riding for either these next few weeks.
want to just thank everyone for their texts, visits, support and well wishes during these last few weeks it has meant so much to have even the smallest convo.
drink up kids before rides most importantly then during and after of course. that is now the team rule. take care playing TDU tour chasing and don't forget—ride every day if you can! safely!
